State of the art sensing technology in the CRF2, using impulse RF admittance measurement provides excellent accuracy and stability. Senses capacitance changes resulting from the height of the material in the tank between the probe and the tank wall.

Both the PBLT2 and PBLTX measure the height of liquid above the position in the tank referenced to atmospheric pressure. Transmitter consists of a piezoresistive sensing element, encased in a 316SS housing. Large diameter 316SS diaphragm seal is non-clogging and damage resistant to floating solids.
